A five mode hybrid superyacht
Tankoa S502 Elettra
Aligned with the world premier of the Tankoa S501 Vertige, the Italian yard has presented the new 50 meter S502 Elettra. While her lines and volumes are similar to the S501, the important innovation is revealed by her name. The S502 Elettra, with delivery scheduled for 2019, will be a yacht featuring hybrid propulsion systems, capable of operation in five different modes.
From the stylistic point of view, the yard’s objective was to have a balanced and timeless design, with a layout specifically planned to offer ideal circulation onboard for owners and guests, with movement from deck to deck without interference from the crew who have their own passageways while on duty. On the lower deck Tankoa foresees a Gym & Beach Club, three guest cabins with king-size beds and two guest cabins with twin berths, plus the crew’s quarters and service areas.
On the main deck, you are greeted by a stern cockpit with sunbeds, sofas and tables, all served by a bar zone. Inside, after the huge main salon and dining room, we have the owner’s cabin, complete with two convertible terraces. The upper deck was conceived around spacious outdoor areas for guest’s relaxation, with a dining table and access to the sky-lounge towards the stern. Forward, this deck will include a solarium area and open-air lounge, all designed to give the guests the maximum in privacy. Comfort also reigns on the fly-deck, with relaxation areas that include sofas, sun-beds, up&down tables, a bar and a large Jacuzzi.
